Religious Education and Collective Worship
Religious Education elicits challenging questions from children, stimulating their curiosity about the purpose and meaning of life. It develops pupils’ knowledge and understanding of Christianity amongst other religions and their traditions. At Barrow 1618 CofE Free School, we provide an outstanding RE curriculum which encourages our children to appreciate and embrace the diverse wider global community in which they live. In our rural setting, we understand that is particularly important to provide a rich variety of opportunities that will enable our children to experience world religions and learn to live together with care and respect beyond the constraints of the classroom. In doing so, we encourage partnerships with other schools and different faiths.
